Evan Atha, the first head Esports coach at Timberline High School is entering into his 1st season in E-sports, during the 2023-24 school year. 

Evan is a Boise native, He attended Timberline high school from 2015-2018 and was a 4 year varsity athlete in Cross country/Track. 

Although this is Evans first season with the e-sports program he began his coaching career in 2018.  He has been the assistant varsity coach for Cross Country/Track, here at Timberline, for the past 6 years. And In that time he helped lead both a boys and girls cross country state championship title. 

Outside of coaching Evan is a business owner and online entrepreneur, doing Digital Marketing, as well as being a professional musician for clients across the country. 

Evan has been an avid gamer his whole life, playing mostly on the PC and the Nintendo Switch. He especially enjoys playing Rocket league, Super Smash Bros, and Madden. 

The Wolves will be competing in 3 games this year: League of Legends, Rocket League, and Super Smash Bros. Evan is excited to combine his experience from these games, with his athletic coaching experience, into this new program.
