Coach Keltner was a successful high school player. Leading the Anacortes High School Seahawks (WA) to a 4th place state finish. He received a first team award, along with Skagit Valley boys basketball player of the year.
He continued playing 4 years of basketball at Montana State University-Northern. Making multiple second team all conferences. In his senior season he was first team all conference, first team all defense, defensive player of the year, and an NAIA all American honorable mention selection.
He is in his first year on Coach Noble's staff.
