Timberline High School
Biography:
George Raad was born and raised in San Francisco, where he attended Saint Ignatius High School. He started playing tennis consistently his junior year of high school when a friend talked him into trying out for the varsity tennis team. George played first doubles as a junior with the same friend and third singles as a senior. It was a great experience. George continues to play tennis today, participates in USTA league and has a NTRP rating of 4.5.
George attended the University of California at Santa Barbara and graduated with a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering. After graduation he was hired at Micron Technology in 1988 and has been in Boise ever since. George spent the majority of his career as a team leader in computer chip design at Micron.
George lives in southeast Boise and is married with two children. Both children graduated from Timberline High School. His hobbies include skiing, mountain biking, and hiking. George was an assistant varsity tennis coach at Timberline High School for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

Biography:
Mr. Nick Smith graduated in 1992 from the University of Oregon with a Finance/Marketing double B.S. and graduated from Oregon State University in 2001 with an Environmental Engineering B.S. Mr. Smith has been a lifetime avid tennis enthusiast and while attending the University of Oregon, he played two years varsity tennis. Since graduating, he remained active in the tennis community including coaching, teaching and competitive play. Mr. Smith is married with three children and was assistant varsity coach in 2020 and 2021 under Coach Koessler while maintaining a full time job as a principal licensed engineer with Stantec Consulting Services Inc..
