The Timberline JV Boys Baseball team entered the district tournament as the #3 Seed.
On Thursday night, Timberline defeated #6 Borah 10-0 in the first round of the JV District Tournament.
On Friday, the Wolves defeated #2 Rocky Mountain, 11-4 to advance to the Championship Game.
Then on Saturday, the boys were down 2-4 to Boise High School in the 7th inning, but were able to plate 3 runs to take the victory, 5-4, and bring home the District Championship trophy for the 2nd year in a row.
FINAL HALF INNING OF PLAY: Single by John Duffy, single by Cole Alton, Sacrifice bunt by Bradley Funkhouser to move Duffy to 3rd and Alton to 2nd. Strikeout by Braden Rachael, RBI single by Chaston Goodwin to score Duffy. Stolen base by Goodwin (runners at 2nd and 3rd), Joey banks loads the bases after being hit by pitch. Alton and Goodwin score from a walk-off 2 RBI single shot over the short stops head by Nic Elkins.
