Timberline High School is pleased to announce the hiring of Emily Mathis as the new head Swim Coach. Emily is from Santa Maria, CA where she swam for Orcutt Academy High School and the Santa Maria Swim Club. She then went on to swim for BSU for 4 years, where she holds the school-record in the 200 yard breaststroke.
Her previous coaching experience includes assistant coaching for Timberline High School the past three years and the Santa Maria Swim Club in CA. After graduating from Boise State University in 2018 with her Elementary Education Teaching Credential, Coach Mathis went on to teach in the Boise School District. She is currently furthering her education by getting her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. Coach Mathis is thrilled for the opportunity to lead the Timberline Swim Team.

Both the Boys and Girls Swim teams finished the season claiming 2nd place at Districts and State.
The results of the Meet against Rocky on October 27 were used to determine district and state results compared against teams across the state who swam in similar dual meets.
The following were also District and State Champions:
Girls 200 Medley Relay: Audrey Thompson, Jillian Moses, Ellie McFarland, and Zoe Bytwerk
Boys 200 Freestyle Relay: Callen Tolman, Adam Peitz, Max Wolf, Jack Severson
Boys 200 IM: Gavin Geffros
Boys 100 Breast: Max Wolf
Girls 100 Breast: Jillian Moses.
