The 2018-2019 Cheer Squad Tryouts

Cheer tryouts WILL BE May 10, 11, and 12.

Thursday, May 10th - 4:00-6:00 - Cheer Clinic

Thursday, May 10th - 6:30 PM - Informational PARENT meeting in the THS Library

Friday, May 11th  - 4:00-6:00 PM - Cheer Clinic

Saturday, May 12th - 9:00-12:00 - Cheer Tryouts

A few things that must be done prior to tryouts:

1.  You must sign up online (click here) 

2.  Athletic Department Paperwork completed (click here)

                    **The Physical must be completed AFTER May 1st, but PRIOR to tryouts on May 10th.

                   ** All Current 8th and 10th graders MUST have a new physical.   All current 9th and 11th graders will need a physical if they have not gotten one previously.   If you are not sure, check with the AD at Timberline, Tol Gropp.

Note.....The online paperwork is not currently available and will not need to be completed prior to cheer tryouts.   Each cheerleader that makes the team will need to complete the online paperwork prior to August 1st.  The window will open on May 22nd.

Timberline High School is proud to announce the hiring of Stephanie Jones as the Head Cheer Coach for the 2018-2019 School Year.  She will also be an English Teacher at Timberline.

Stephanie has been a cheerleading coach for 19 years.  During her first ten years of coaching she ran an All-Star Cheer Program and acquired eight national championship titles in those ten years.  She has been a High School Cheerleading coach for the past nine years, six of which were in Visalia, Ca and the past three were in Monterey, Ca.  At both high schools, she was involved in over-hauling the growth in both the size and quality of the programs; turning them into competition level teams.   She has been married to her husband, Andrew Jones for three years and they have a son, named Elijah, who is one.  Stephanie is very excited to be a part of the Timberline Cheer Program and is eager to start selecting the 2018-19 team.
